All gamers hate delays. If anything, the best reason to delay a release is to make the game better and polish everything before giving it to the public. To that note, the game all Playstation fans have been waiting for, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, has been delayed to April 26th, 2016. Its forgivable that Naughty Dog, one of the greatest studios of this generation, needs a bit of extra time to finish some touches to its “largest Uncharted game to date.” A Playstation Blog reports:
“As we approached our final deadlines and started wrapping up the game’s levels, we realized that several key sequences needed extra resources to bring them to the finish line,” ….”Pushing the date is not an easy choice, and we wouldn’t do it if we didn’t feel in our hearts it’s the best course of action for the game.” – Neil Druckmann & Bruce Straley
This will be the second delay since its original launch date due for this holiday season. I’m sure that this delay is justified and if it means pushing the date back to get a better outcome, so be it. We all just have to learn the patience game, something I am not very good at.
