Twitch.tv is continuing their push for musicians streaming their work online in a big way. Not only have we gotten sets from DJs like Monstercat, Steve Aoki and Borgore, it was announced today that the largest American EDM music festival, Ultra Music Festival, will be live streaming all three days via Twitch.tv. This is huge, as Ultra year after year has streamed via YouTube and while the experience got better, this opens up to a much more wider audience. The ability to snap the Twitch.tv app via the Xbox One console allows players to continue gaming while experiencing UMF.

Twitch also has apps running on tons of major streaming devices opening up to more viewers. YouTubes issue in the past was most devices didn’t allow to view live events even if you had the URL to the event, limiting you to your PC or mobile device. Check out the announcement trailer below featuring Martin Garrix and the Xbox One, and the in to Ultra Music Festival 2015 on March 27-29 at twitch.tv/ultra.
