Play Ball! As the 2014 Major League Baseball season begins, you are now able to watch Live games on your Google Chromecast device via the MLB At Bat application. Google’s popular streaming device will run you $35 from the Play Store, which includes streaming capabilities to Netflix, Hulu, HBO Go and more.

If you wish to take advantage of MLB TV on your Chromecast, you will need to have a Premium account first, MLB offers two types with One Year costing $129.99 and Month to Month for $24.99. There is a lite version of the service, but it isn’t compatible with Chromecast.

The Chromecast keeps getting better and better with more developers supporting their apps with Chromecast, I wouldn’t be surprised if more sports apps jump on to the Chromecast as well – maybe NFL could be next.

The Chromecast app is available free for iOS on the App Store and Android on the Play Store.
