By now you may know that Samsung announced the new and improved Gear 2, and the cost efficient Gear Neo which gives the Galaxy devices more partners than anyone person needs. But it doesn’t stop there, Samsung had one more device up its sleeve and its called the Gear Fit. Technically, the Gear Fit is a fitness tracker. Think of it like this, a FitBit Force on steroids (minus the rash).
So what were looking at is a 1.84″ curved Super AMOLED display (first of its kind) with an interchangeable band much like the Gear 2 and Gear Fit. It will feature the step tracker, notifications of incoming calls, texts and emails as well as the heart rate monitor. From what we see, it looks like a nice device to have if your not aiming to go for the Gear 2 and Gear Neo. It really isn’t trying to take the spot of your watch but definitely can.
The Gear Fit is set to release around the same time as the other devices which is April in Black band with additional colors like Wild Orange and Mocha Gray band color options. Were looking forward to it, are you?
