Fresh out of their New York Unpacked event, Samsung has officially unveiled the new Note 5 and S6 Edge+.

The Galaxy Note 5 has gone through a bit of a physical change now being a bit more inspired by the S6. Tighter bezels and a nice curved back make the Note 5 so much easier to hold in one hand. Some improvements have been made to the S-Pen as a click has been added to releases the pen from the phone. The S-Pen apps have also been updated as well as the addition to write on the screen while the device is off for quicker note taking.

The S6 Edge+ is essentially a blown up version of the original Edge. With some minor software tweaks like YouTube Live Streaming straight from the phone and side swipe apps and contacts have been improved.

Both devices feature a 5.7 Inch Super Amoled display, 4GB of RAM, 3000 mAh non removable batteries, wireless and standard fast charging (must use Samsungs special Fast Charging Wireless Pad for it to work), and in 32/64GB storage models. Both cameras are taken from the original S6, though the Quick Launch on these new devices launched the camera app just a by faster than the S6/S6 Edge. The Optical Image Stabilization has also improved for these cameras.

Both devices will be on sale in the U.S. Starting August 21st with Pre Orders beginning today. All major U.S. Carriers will carry these devices in two colors: Black Sapphire and White Pearl.
