Roku has introduced its New Streaming Stick via HDMI for HDTV’s. Priced at just $49.99 in the US, Roku looks to bring its large catalog of content to HDTV’s and try to take away momentum from Google’s $35 streaming stick, the Chromecast. Users will be able to access up to 1,200 channels ranging from sports, news, movies TV shows and more with the ability to use Roku’s original user interface. Common apps like Netflix and YouTube will be able to be streamed directly from your Android or iOS device.

The new Roku Streaming Stick (HDMI version) is $49.99 and available for pre-order now from Amazon.comBestBuy.comTarget.comWalmart.com and Roku.com. It will ship to consumers and arrive in retails stores in April.
