Today has been a busy day for Sony at Gamescom. They announced new games, a price drop for the PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 3, revealed new trailers, and even showed off some new colors for their DualShock 4 control. Sony even revealed that by the end of December 2013, there will be 33 titles available on the PlayStation 4 including Call of Duty Ghosts, Watch Dogs, Battlefield 4, Killzone: Shadow Fall, Drive Club, NBA 2K14, Knack, and many more. If one thing is certain, there are a variety of games that look to appeal to any kind of gamer when the console finally releases.
Speaking of the release, after taking another strong jab at Microsoft and there PR department, Sony decided to 1-up their rivals again by giving everyone the biggest news of the conference.
The PlayStation 4 will be available in North America on November 15th, 2013 while Europe and Latin America will wait to get theirs on November 29th.
There you have it. The release date has been confirmed. It will release right in time for the holidays and a week away from the dreaded Black Friday.
