Nokia has been on the up and up with the releases of their well-known, camera glorified 925 and 1020.  They have been exeeding in sales and seem to be heading in the right direction.  Now, Nokia is releasing two more beasts into the market that may sway more decisions to choose them over other brands.  Aimed at entertainment and productivity, also entering the phablet area of mobile, the Lumia 1320 and 1520 are bringing large displays, usual great cameras and beefed up internals.

Nokia Lumia 1320
This version of the lumia series features a 6-inch 720p HD-resolution LCD which could be considered a lower grade compared to the 1520.  It also has a dual-core Snapdragon chip to power up the device like previous Lumias (920, 925, 928, 1020).  Though it has decent internals, its going to run a rather low 5 mp camera.  The phone will be running the Windows Phone UI as we all (love/hate) it and have all the Nokia branded applications.  It will be available in orange, yellow, white and black at the price of $339.  The release date is set for q1 2014.

Nokia Lumia 1520
The Lumia 1520 seems to be aimed at a bigger upgrade and on paper it shows off its stuff.  This will have the 20MP PureView camera with OIS technology which is similar to the same technology found in the Lumia 1020.  A 6-inch full 1080p display that will be “vivid and outstanding for outdoor readability.”  Unlike other Lumia phones, this will have Nokia Rich Recording using 4 built-in microphones as well as a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor.  And last but not least, Microsoft Office will be built in so documents can be edited and shared easily for maximum productivity.  It will be available in yellow, white, black and glossy red.  It is expected to ship this holiday season (q4 2013) with an estimated price of $749.
