Motorola has finally made the long awaited smart watch available for public release, and will only cost $249. You will also have an option for a metal band for $299 with additional bands releasing in the Fall. The Moto 360 is also the first smart watch to ditch the square display and offer the elegant and very comfortable round display. Like the LG G Watch and Samsung Gear Live, Android Wear is live on the Moto 360 with a 1.56″ 320 x 290 backlit LCD display, 320 mAh battery, 4GB of internal storage and 512mb of RAM. Included is the charging dock, and also heart sensor underneath the base which works with many fitness apps on the market.

There will be two colors available at launch in silver and black, and three different wristbands with the metal option being available later this year.

The Moto 360 will be available for purchase on Motorola’s website, Best Buy locations, and other locations very soon!
