After the huge success of NetherRealm Studios’ Injustice: God’s Among Us, Co-Creator Ed Boone took to Twitter (as he always does) to announce the title of the all new Mortal Kombat: Mortal Kombat X.
The name of the game is “Mortal Kombat X”

So after the trailer was released, we have gathered some information about the next Mortal Kombat title. Wiz Khalifa produced the original track heard in the trailer, MKX is scheduled for a 2015 release, X-Rays return, Interact-able environment and weapons like the ones we saw in Injustice, and environment tiers seem to be back as well. Also, character models of Scorpion and Sub-Zero seem to follow a lot more natural than past titles, but seeing Scoprion Fatality Sub never gets old.
