The new Lenovo ideapad Miix 700 can be mistaken for another similar device when looked at from afar, but Lenovo isn’t just looking to copy the Microsoft Surface, it looks to make it better. The Miix 70o is a 12-inch Windows 10 PC with a rotating hinge and removable keyboard.

As mentioned, youre getting a 12′ FHD+ 2160 X 1440 multi-touch display, full Windows 10 Pro/Home, configurable up to 6th Gen INtel Core i7 processor, up to 8GB of memory and up to 256GB of SSD storage. The included folio case acts as a keyboard dock similar to that of the Microsoft Surface. Lenovo has taken its wizardry in rotating hinges and have added a hinge to the Miix 700 that can be positioned anywhere you’d like. There is also an option of 4G LTE capability.

It also features WiFi 802.11 a/c, Blutooth 4.0, 1x USB 3.0, 1x USB 2.0, Micro HDMI-out, Micro SIM for LTE/3G, microSD, and Audio Combo Jack.

Lenovo hasn’t stated a release date but is scheduled to roll out for the Holidays. The Miix 700 will start at $699, respectively and available in two colors; Ebony Black, Champagne Gold.
