Any rumors, gossip, hearsay, speculation, myth or buzz can be thrown out of the window as Apple finally announces the iPhone 5C. Meant to target more audiences, Apple fits the iPhone 5C with similar technical specifications as the previous iPhone 5, but this time in a multitude of colors and a brand new design and finish. The backing will be a single full, unibody design with a more rigid inner metal infrastructure that also acts as the antenna. The phone will be sporting a 32-bit A6 processor, same as the iPhone 5. Also taking notes from its predecessor, the iPhone 5C will have a 8 megapixel camera and 4G LTE with even more bands than the iPhone 5. Talk time will be improved with 10 hours from the previous 8 on the iPhone 5. Its dimensions will be coming at 4.65 ounces and 0.35 inches in thickness making it heavier and thicker than the iPhone 5 and upcoming 5S also announced, but by a very small, almost undistinguishable margin. Colors will come in blue, green, pink, yellow, white and Apple has stressed its release of their own branded iPhone covers coming in the same colors including black. Apple wants the users to give their phones personalities with the protective colors showing off its already vibrant colors. The screen will be a 4-inch IPS LCD screen with 1,136×640 pixels, 326 ppi. The very same as the iPhone 5 and upcoming 5S. It will be running 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi (802.11n 2.4GHz and 5GHz) and Bluetooth 4.0 wireless technology. Those looking to get an iPhone 5, will have to search for other methods of obtaining the predecessor or purchase an iPhone 5S or 5C, as they will be replacing the iPhone 5 and will not be sold alongside each other.
