The SteelSeries Siberia 800 (formerly H Wireless) are still hands down one of my favorite headsets to use, not only for gaming but for all multimedia purposes. These headphones offer some of the best 7.1 Surround from any gaming headset and its wireless receiver is well worth the $300 price tag. Having it connected to your entertainment center makes the Sibera 800’s great for private listening.

Logitech G633 & G933 Artemis Spectrum 7.1 Surround


Logitech released the G633 and G933 Artemis Spectrum headsets which features 7.1 on both headsets, RGB customization, programmable G keys and either a wired or wireless option. The G633 is the wired of the two and will run for $150 while the wireless G933 come in at just $200. Both headsets are great for PC gamers and the RGB illumination adds that bit of personalization – especially when paired with other Logitech peripherals.

Plantronics Rig Flex LX


Plantronics re-released their popular Rig headset with the Rig Flex LX, which now includes their special LX1 adapter for the Xbox One controller. This Flex LX headset is an absolute must for any Xbox One gamer on a budget. Great sound, superb comfort and amazing price of $50, this should easily be the go to for anyway looking to upgrade from their standard mic. The Flex LX also comes in a Special Edition model fine tuned for better game audio which is available only on as of now.

Polk Audio Striker P1


Now for my PlayStation gamers on a budget, the Polk Audio Striker P1 mixes great rich Polk sound, with an awesome feeling premium headset. Coming just shy under $100 at $90, the Striker P1 is a great choice for a budget upgrade.
