Nexus 5 White

The rumors were true, Google officially announced the all new Nexus 5 by LG early Halloween afternoon. The leaked photos were all correct as the new Nexus 5 is boasting a 5″ 1080p HD IPS display (445 ppi), a 1.3mp front facing camera, 8mp camera on the back, and Google’s new Android 4.4 KitKat operating system; which includes a ton of awesome new features and changes. The device is very similar to the recent release by LG, the LG G2, as in how much much side bezel is gone due to the edge to edge display, which was a huge plus to me. The Nexus 5 also includes a Snapdragon 800 processor, anĀ Adreno 330 GPU, 2,300mAh battery, wireless charging, LTE connectivity, and NFC.

There are two size and color configurations you can get, which is a 16GB or 32GB model that will retail at $349 and $399, respectively with the choice of either Black or White. Google is already taking orders for the Nexus 5 but just to note, the 16GB models in both colors are currently Sold Out. Now if you wish to purchase the Nexus 5 for a specific carrier, Sprint has announced that it will have the Nexus 5 for $150 after a 450 mail-in-rebate starting November 8th and T-Mobile will get the Nexus 5 within the coming weeks.
