EA Sports announced a ton of new FIFA 14 details at Gamescom yesterday, with the most notable being that FIFA 14 will be packaged with the Xbox One for a limited time in Europe. However, they also made some announcements in regards to new leagues, new team licenses, legendary players, and a new online mode. So let’s kick it off with some of the new teams and leagues that were announced for the game.

The Argentinean and Chilean Primera Divisions have made their way to the FIFA franchise. All 20 clubs from Argentinean and all 18 clubs from the Chilean Primera will have the authentic crest, kits, and players for each team. Also, one of Argentina’s most popular clubs, Atlético Independiente and Bombonera Staidum, home of the Boca Juniors, will be authentically re-created in the game.

“We are very excited to be joining the bestselling football game on the planet and to have a showcase of Chilean league in the world” said Sergio Jadue. “Seeing the team in the world’s most popular sports videogame in the coming years is something that will definitely build the connection between our team and our fans.”

To add on to those 38 new teams from Argentina and Chile, it was also announced that EA Sports has reached a four-year licensing agreement with the Brazilian Football Confederation that will allow the Brazilian National Team into FIFA 14.

“The Brazilian National Team is one of the world’s most iconic football teams so we are very excited to bring Brazil’s stars in their authentic kits into FIFA 14,” said David Rutter, Executive Producer of the FIFA franchise. “For fans worldwide who appreciate the passion and flair that the Brazilian National Team plays with, this will only add to the authentic FIFA experience they enjoy.”

Last but not least, the FIFA 14 demo will be hitting Xbox 360, PS3, and PC worldwide on September 10th and 11th. You’ll be able to test out  an array of gameplay modes and improvements that have been made to the game like Precision Movement, Real Ball Physics, Pure Shot, and Teammate Intelligence.

This was a lot to take in and the funny part is, we haven’t even gotten to the next-gen version of FIFA 14 or mentioned the fact that another Latin American league will be unveiled sometime this week. With so many features, leagues, clubs, and players; FIFA 14 is looking to be the biggest and best instalment in the franchise yet.

FIFA 14 releases September 24th in North America and worldwide on September 27th.
