This week has been the deadline for TV networks to decide on the future of most of their programming. While many shows are getting cancelled, Legends are being announced, but the Marvel duo is still running. ABC has announced the renewal of Marvel’s Agent Carter to Season 2 and call for Season 3 of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

It has been a bumpy road for Clark Gregg (Phil Coulson) and his Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, but after a very good tie in to Captain America: Winter Soldier last year, the program has gotten extremely better – and we hope to continue seeing more TV to big screen movie tie ins in the future.

During Agents’ winter break, Marvel fans got to take a look at a new bad ass heroine in Agent Peggy Carter. Reprising her role from the Captain America film, Hayley Atwell took us by surprise. Delivering a very well 8 episode Season filled with many Marvel easter eggs and 1940’s crime drama.

Both shows are set in the current Marvel Cinematic Universe with Agent Carter dealing of course with the past. Let’s face it, comic book shows are here to stay, and will be taking over your major networks for many months to come.
